Dialogue
I say they're my own and only I can be judged from them. Many will be bad ones. Some will bring joy.
Life says money
I say always gonna be enough for what is needed, maybe not for what is wanted and wished, but always for what is needed. And I rather struggle through the paycheck than letting it define my life.
Life says trouble, worries, bad things, bad luck, heavy rain and thunderstorms
I say bring it, make it hard, make it learnable from, make it self defining and character building, show me what you've got in store for me
Life says death
I shake to the core and fall upon my knees... It hits hard. For a big while. Yet there's no unbounded fall, there's allways gonna be something to hold on to. And then
Life says love
And she shows up. Out of nowhere. So amazing, so undoubtedly beautiful that makes it all... different.

...
Baby look at me
And tell me what you see
You ain't seen the best of me yet
Give me time I'll make you forget the rest
I got more in me
And you can set it free
I can catch the moon in my hands
Don't you know who I am?
Do you know that 'rule' of not getting yourself between a girl and her boyfriend? Well... Is that debatable? Just this time, please?? :P

Masks for the whole year
Yesterday, I saw a phantom singing Opera and a Donald duck dating Minnie, I saw spider-man in a car with batman, but they didn't seem to be fighting any crime or avenging anything… It all stroked me as odd until I figured it was carnival, after all.
Then I started to take a closer look to everyone's clouding, and came to conclude that the number of nurses and policewomen circulating the streets had risen brutally in the past 24 hours, also half of the city's male population had been transformed in their sleep and a lot had become transvestites… Everyone seemed to be masked, looking everywhere around everyone was except for me… And this could mean so much; it could mean that I don't need a mask because I wear one every day, or that I live so much of my life in anonymity that presenting me has myself is a great mask to wear, or whatever other blog's pseudo psychologists invent… I really don't care
There are hundreds of lectures and lecturers, which claim to be truthful and say that people should not only be ride off the physical masks but also the social, the psychological and emotional masks. And I hate those people… Because those are normally the people that when addressing, between pals, subjects like minorities start speaking by saying "I'm not a racist but… (Hypocrisy)". I'm not like that; at least that's what I think.
But then again I wear so many masks; it's very hard to say… It's really a riddle; I cannot say who I am with or without mask. Today I'm a youngster of 19 years, tomorrow? Maybe I'll be a babysitter, and after that? I'll grow to be a proper economist, a corrupt politician, a great detective or a TV lobbyist… I don't know. I think that every day I'll take a swing at a new mask until I find a perfect fit.
(I like trial and fail, because at every trail there's a possibility that you can get it right and every time you fail is a possibility to try again.)
Those that have masked themselves must have found themselves and decided for a little change, who am I to judge them?

151 (or so) things
Does that mean you can’t dream past today? Not exactly… It means you have to be done with things; don’t let them hover around, unfinished, unresolved, undecided.
The material things will eventually come together, at least in heaven, because (my) paradise features an eternity of everything you can think of! But the other stuff, stuff like being mad at someone you love, like never having said “I love you”, like never having felt love, like never being truly grateful for your time here on Earth, that stuff you should sort out asap.
Anyhow, that doesn’t keep me from dreaming! And I dream a lot, not just when I’m asleep. Because I’m a dreamer, and I’ll never be ashamed of that. So I’m trying to dream about 151 things to do before I die. It’s like a bucket list… Why 151? Don’t know, it felt right. And I’m asking you, what are your 151 things? Or your 4 things, whatever! What is it that you wish for? What do you want?

In my world
There's no war because there's no need. There's no ambition, no jealousy nor revenge. There's nothing others have that you can't have so there's nothing you want to take from them.
In my world there's no poverty.
There's no poverty because nothing has value. Nothing except actions and words. There's no money, there's no trades because giving dust is the same as giving gold. You want nothing more than you have because everything is at your disposal.
In my world there's no success.
There's no success because all you seek is happiness, fulfilment. The only rewards for your work are joy and an increase in the common good. You work for everyone, but ultimately, you work for yourself. Those who don't want to work make other things; they're not as happy as you are.
In my world there's no crime.
There's no crime because everyone has what they need. And no one wants more. No one hates. That doesn't mean everyone loves, it just means that everyone understood what a waste of time and resources hating is. Again there's no jealousy. There's no evil 'cause there's no reason for it.
In my world there's difference and equality.
Everyone's different and that makes everyone equal in their differences. Each person has the same rights, the same duties, the same opportunities. Everyone respects this differences because that's the only way to be respected in return. There's no racism, we're all people. There's no discrimination because there's no hate and there's no superiority complexes.
In my world there's innovation.
There's innovation because people realized it gives them pleasure to have new ideas, to make things, to try things, to understand things. To have an epiphany is one of the best adrenaline pumps there is. Within all differences, there's different interests and everything is interesting to at least one person. In individuality there's team work, and that leads to better individuals. There's no stagnation, because there is evolution in thinking too. There are constant questions being raised.
In my world there's love.
There's love because it's good. That's enough. People realized they can't live alone and that there's always something they like in each other. When they like many things, they fall in love. But sometimes they stop loving after a while. Oh there are broken hearts in my world! There's suffering but there's no hate. People learned to appreciate the good moments, to live them and experience them with all they've got. In my world there's no hidden interests, the only goal is to be happy, as happy as you can.
This is my world.

Patriotism
Apart from this, I do like when the portuguese football team wins... Is that contradictory?
A friend of mine said we become different people when we're competing for our country, for example. I guess it's normal that we feel good to represent a TEAM, we feel good when we win. But that has nothing to do with our country.
Don't get me wrong, I like living here, I'm lucky to have been born here and not somewhere else; I might not have the same opportunities. But that's it. I'm all for globalization (in this strict sense of having no boundaries!).
Urray!
ps: that's a friend I met in school, her name is Destiny. She works at night, after school :/

Happy endings
No happy ending. 7.3/10
______________________________________________________
Ewan McGregor is almost at his best (and the man can sing!) and Nicole Kidman is... stunning! I've never seen her more beautiful.
No happy ending. 8.2/10
______________________________________________________
"What's the Czech for "Do you love him"?"
No happy ending. 8.5/10
______________________________________________________
I guess life is not a movie. There's no "everything will be ok" and no "lived happily ever after". In the end, it's not who you love that matters, it's how. It's the attitude you take life with.
Happy endings only depend on where you choose to stop your story.

Learning
A few days ago I invited some friends to go see a lecture on astronomy and watch some stars through the telescope afterwards.
It was going all right until, 10 minutes after the lecture started, some of them started to feel bored. We eventually had to leave.
I must admit, I was really disapointed... I know it's not the most interesting agenda one could have. I know it might be boring, I know the chairs weren't that confortable (s) but it's what I like the most. It's what I'll do for the next 50 years, hopefully. I won't apologize for that. And as my friend, I think you should have stayed through the whole thing, even if you felt like shooting your foot. It's what I would do.
I don't care about our little companion on that night, although I also felt it was disrespectful to be invited and not be able to shut up for a minute and learn something. But that's not my business, he already broke the glass he had to brake...
Anyway, don't expect it again... I try not to make the same mistakes twice...
I hate when people can't enlarge their sight, expand their interests, just for the sake of it. I hate when people don't like to learn, when they're not curious...
And sometimes, yes, I think it's ok to fake some interest, if it will make someone happy... But that's just me.

The last Day on the pitch
Upload Music
(Before I start, let plea sorry to Jack and deWinter, but I only had one ticket)
The grass was green, the skies were blue has the 22 players entered the pitch. Courtesies were exchanged between the teams, before the whistle.
The match started with the ball circulating between the players, and before you knew it the ball was in the net, the stadium Raise all at the same time, thousands of hands up in the air in celebration.
The ruff tackles started flying, and referee wrote a symphony. The game started to get violent, and the players became sissies. The wossy-mania was on!!
A second goal came as surprisingly as the first, that calm down the crowd for the next 3 minutes, time it took for the opposition to cut one back, giving back to the game the redeem of the first 15 minutes. Without even noticing, half time was upon us. And the Cheer was just what the crowd needed, of came the cheer leaders, with the pompons in her hands dancing an incredible choreography to the sound of the music "girlfriend" by Avril Lavinge. The male audience gave a standing ovation for these spirit lifters, as they were leaving the field.
Of started the second half, and once again the ball was passed from feet to feet, head to head. At every tackle the crowd would go ecstatic, because either the referee was missing the foul play, or it really was something to remember.
Every minute the stadium echoed an "AHAAAaaaaa", or an "OWOWOooowoo", but the most common was the phrase "YOU Blind BASTARD!!!".
The last strategies of the season were plotted in both benches, one in search of the equalizing goal, the other looking for tranquility.
The subs were made; all under an enormous clapping concert has the players walked into the touch-line. The last minute was upon us, and everything seemed decided, but out of nowhere, the whistle blow, not for the signal the end of the match, but award a penalty… He placed the ball, he ran… he shouts… the kipper dives to the left… and the ball goes to the right, making the score 3-1 for the home team.
The final whistle was finally blown, signaling the end of the season for both teams.
And the tackles gave way to hand shacks and courtesies between the players, ending with all of them thanking the crowd, for their full support in the past 9 months.
It was a great day to play football indeed.

The Diamond
Now I get it! Now that a new light has shined upon my eyes, I get it. The need, the warm feeling and the chilling, the strange lack of words when she's around, now I get it all. I'm not a poet, but now I feel the need to write our song. And there enough floors that I could by to truly match her beauty. In the wind, I imagine her body floating, like a sail, with me giving the music of my heart pounding all the way.
I meet someone new, someone who brighten by eyes and showed me the pleasure in silence, and the joy of happy words. I wisped lies to deaf ears, but now my friends, I'm here shouting to you and the world. The love of my life lives… You're skeptical, you think it is a joke, like the one time pulls me every few moments I see her, it seems it stops, and leaving just us in a dead space, but then it comes again leaving every word I wanted to declare to her in the end of my mouth without ever leaving it. Because with love comes also the feeling of self-dough. Can I give her what she needs, can I break the ice? Does she feel the same? Or am I just looking to a mirror that tricks me by changing right and wrong, a smile for a cry, a hello for a goodbye, and a hug for a stab?
But these empty words of feelings if not felt back will crash under depression. But how do I know, I She's my Juliet and I'm her Romeo? How do I know?
This is why I now turn to you, for all the help I can get is less than I must need, for the naivety is something that I don't really understand, may you ask jack if you like, and my naïve heart little knows about love, and how to share it with others.
Help me catch my brut diamond. Please

Hard work, even before you get it!
As we were heading to this unbelievably great party we ended up not going, I came across this phylosophical question of much importance:
Does conquering the girl/boy of your dreams demand a constant struggle?
Anyway, the conquering part... and by this I mean that time before you assume a relationship. It can take hours for some people, as it can take years for others.
It's the second best part of "it". This is the time where you fall in love, where you're nervous everytime that person walks into the room. Is the time where you say and do the most stupid things.
Now, can enough time, work and stuborness get you the girl/boy?
Maybe yes, eventually... But what a waste! It's only in the movies that the all-time neighbours end up falling in love, as he saves her from the alliens or something. And in my opinion, that's not fair to the one who had all the work.
"Oh, I realize now that I love you!!"
"Great! But as I was coming near to jump from the bridge because I thought you'd never love me, you didn't even look at me!!! Nevermind, let's be happy ever after!"
This is what I thought 3 days ago. I realized since then, that there's a catch! The only thing I need to get the girl of my dreams is to be myself and wait for her to come. I think so...
There will eventually come a girl that likes me just the way I am - or at least most of the things I am - and I will make her the girl of my dreams (the dreams are efemerous things).
Now the catch: being JUST yourself is one of the most difficult tasks you'll ever do. Not being nicer, nor funnier, nor more sensitive, nor cockier. That's hard and demands work.
So, in conclusion, I realize now that it takes a constant struggle to get someone to like you. A struggle to be just the way you are, so that your ideal match can come and see it.
After you get into a relationship, then you can be as many things as you want and if she(he)'s one of the possible "ones", she(he)'ll understand.
Sorry for how long this got :P

Should we live many good stories, or few great ones?

Hard Life
Either it’s lack of money, too much money, lack of happiness, lack of intelligence, feeling ugly, etc, etc, everyone always finds at least one answer to the question “why is your life so hard?”. And I don’t like that at all.
I once had a teacher who, almost every morning class, as early as 8am, would say “You think your life is hard? You’re wrong: you’re lucky. You have food and water on your table, you are healthy and you are here, learning. You’re luckier than most.” That’s the only thing I remember from that teacher.
And so, I think that’s the key to surpass all your problems: relativity.
I don’t like when I hear people saying their life is hard, they have all sorts of misfortunes happening to them all the time, they’re not happy, they make up problems even when they don’t have them…
From my point of view, life is so easy… I just live it… and that’s it. I learn with the past, “I live in the moment”, but I always think about the future. There’s nothing hard in that. But if you don’t learn with your mistakes, it’s ok. If you don’t do or say everything you wanted to, it’s ok. If you worry too much about the future, or if you don’t worry at all, it will be ok…
You have no tests, like in school; you have no pressure, because you already know how it’s going to end.
What would you say to someone who’s about to be born?
I would say: Come with no fear. Live. Dream. Love. But anger not to do that. Be patient. Be kind. Be good. Expect to get what you give, but always hope for more. And give more.
To live life, you just have to be alive. It’s easy. Everyone does it!
“Just remember, the same as a spectacular Vogue magazine, remember that no matter how close you follow the jumps: Continued on page whatever. No matter how careful you are, there's going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn't experience it all. There's that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should've been paying attention. Well, get used to that feeling. That's how your whole life will feel some day. This is all practice. None of this matter. We're just warming up.”
Chuck Palahniuk
