"An unfiltered look..."

I came across this show the other day. Today I want to recommend it to you all. But beware to don't develop empathy for the characters because the show has been canceled after only 9 episodes (I think HBO couldn't handle it...).
Also beware because it is quite sexually "charged".
I hope you like it.

It's amazing

That one last shot's a permanent vacation
And how high can you fly with broken wings?
Life's a journey not a destination
And I just can't tell just what tomorrow brings

You have to learn to crawl before you learn to walk
But I just couldn't listen to all that righteous talk
Well, I was out on the street, just tryin' to survive
Scratchin' to stay alive

lions and lambs

I'm amazed by the hunt (at least that's what they call it), and I'm not talking about leopards chassing zebras in the savana, I'm talking about the "human hunt", the mating dance, or whatever other name you come to think of.

like any other hunt there's a predator and a prey. I just cant figure out who is witch, in one corner you have the men natural hunters since their birth, with various tecnics (pick up lines/sketeshes), game plans, team mates. And on the other you have a wating game, like a carnivorous plant, steady, calm, beautifully planted, with a seat aroma, that can be a great stay or the ruthest prison to get out of.

Seeing each others weapons, and being the weak spots the same has the oponent's strong ones. I'm bow to ask who's the lion and who's the lamb, or (if your seak of animal metaphors in this blog), whose the submissive and whose the submitor.

I think it only depends of the modd of the agents involved.

You had it coming..

Happy birthday John...

(you really thought we wouldn't talk about it??)

Lent part 2 - I must have to apologize to someone.

For the people that don’t know the lent is the time between the carnival and Easter, normally celebrated with sacrifices every day like fasting, and prayer.

This part of the lent we ask for forgiveness, for whatever wrong we’ve done during our lives, so…
As you can figure I’m has human has you are so I too have to apologize to someone. As my Sins make a long list and to ask for everyone’s forgiveness takes is almost impossible. So I’ll take the chance and the possibility that blogger offers to ask to everyone and everything for forgiveness, and pardon, and to say “I’m correcting my ways, please accept”.

Here's another part of The Prince of Egypt movie hopping to inspire you has it did to me.

Deep understanding of the world!

There is this farmer who is having problems with his chickens. All of the sudden, they are all getting very sick and he doesn't know what is wrong with them. After trying all conventional means, he calls a biologist, a chemist, and a physicist to see if they can figure out what is wrong.
So the biologist looks at the chickens, examines them a bit, and says he has no clue what could be wrong with them. Then the chemist takes some tests and makes some measurements, but he can't come to any conclusions either. So the physicist tries. He stands there and looks at the chickens for a long time without touching them or anything. Then all of the sudden he starts scribbling away in a notebook. Finally, after several gruesome calculations, he exclaims, 'I've got it! But it only works for spherical chickens in a vacuum.'

Kicking

Kicking
Here’s a new hobby, with very kinds of practicing it, some choose to kick a ball in sports like football, other bags like jujitsu and other martial arts, but my favorite is kicking people.
I’m not talking about like the English teens do it, that choose someone randomly and beat him to death, no my way is less splashy, and more lethal.

I Like to KICK People down, break them mentally, destroy believes and theories whish they accept. Basically what I like to do is to add plus one to the depression group (that’s the goal), or the frustration path (second best, but still very rewarding), the only way I lose in this game is if I don’t find a weak spot, or the person I do this to and I become friends (Like the Lady and Jack) but in this later one I still win out side of the sport.

The rules are simple:

1. Acquire only one target, the option of a second target at the same time always backfires.
2. Do what you have to do, a strong enemy always has its flaws hit them hard.
3. Don’t share target’s or tell who it is, they’ll know eventually.
4. No More rules.

I’ll talk about strategies later, for now I just need to say something that is certainly going to backfire.

I’m Winning this litle game of mine.

P.S.: Don't forget to vote for me to be the clown of the year I truly deserve it.

Careful what you wish for...

"Knowing is not enough, we must apply..Willing is not enough, we must do." Goethe

Communication is the first thing we really learn in life. Funny thing is, as we grow up, learn our words and really start talking, the harder it becomes to know what to say or how to ask for what we need..(speaking our mind out is an easy task...at least i don't think so!)

There are things you just can't help to talk about..
Somethings you just don't want to hear and somethings you say because you can't be silent any longer..
Somethings are more than what you say, they're what you do..
Somethings you say because there's no other choice and somethings you keep to yourself..
And not too often, but every now and then, somethings just speak for themselfs..

Perfect!

Just perfect!

The Leap Year

So, to clear up a discussion we had the other day, and to inform anyone who is curious enough, I here by explain THE LEAP YEAR (aka Ano Bissexto):

This bit I will write in portuguese, because otherwise half of us (me included) wouldn't understand half of it.

To learn more see this: Ano Bissexto (in portuguese)

I hope you learned something useful and/or fun.

The poor scorpion hates materislism but loves Tommy Hilfiger

There is no perfect beings (besides the nature itself) and scorpions aren't exception, but what i don't like about scorpions is how incoherent they are!!

Scorpions societies are organized (though you can find some casual caos..) and are distributed worldwide.

Scorpions are all for peace and love, and still ocasionally one of their leaders starts a war with another scorpions' ecossistem..which makes me wonder, what the fuck?

Some of them say out loud, they don't let themselfs get involved lovelly...but the truth is they meet some special scorpian or other kind of animal that lives in the same ecossistem, and they start feeling butterflies on their stomach and stuff like that...To avoid inter-specie sex they say: i promissed i would never fall in love with anyone from the prince charming land...

They are morally against murder and still, from time to time, they ask a frog for a ride and, in the middle of the trip they kill the naive frog in cold blood and say: i'm sorry, it's my nature...[Come On!!] Can we change what we are?

(I could go on and on.....)

Conclusion:

In the world there are two kinds of individuals: the aliens and the robots.
The Aliens do their own think, not caring about..pretty much anything else.
The robots do what others expecting them to do...

(Now I ask) Which one are you?
(You wonder) Do i have to pick?
(I touch your soul by aswering) Most people do!
