Equality

This is a very talked about subject, but for no need. I’ll cut to the chase and say equality is nothing, but a mirage. It will never happen, and the reason is that you can fool everyone some of the time, you can fool some people all the time, but you can’t fool everyone all of the time.

Yes! Equality is a fool’s idea and only suited for a fool believer. (By now Sin, Calvin and almost every humanitarian are shouting cursed phrases with my name on it).

Because... why?

Equality is not found in anything that hasn’t been mechanically tempered, even two leafs of the same tree aren’t alike.

It’s funny, whenever I see a protest on the TV about work equality for men and women, saying that men and women should be paid the same, that both must have the Wright to reach the top. I laugh. (Jeez! Watch your language) Because if total equality were to be conceded the same people that are protesting on the TV right now will also be protesting, after equality.

Why?

Because, it’s in their nature. Women can’t have the same perks has men, they have to have more. And due to due to ECR (Equivalent Change Rule), this addiction of perks reflect in lower salaries, and a more troubled way to the top.

So I would suggest instead of fighting for equality or equivalence, better fight for difference. Everyone of us is an unique specimen, and as so a unique treatment is what each one of us deserves. Otherwise you’re just fighting to enter a box.

Rorschach

P.S.:
People cannot gain anything without sacrificing something. You must present something of equal value in order to gain something. That is the principle of equivalent exchange.

The Full Metal Alchemist

If you don't get it this way think of the Isac Newton's laws, one of them is quite like this one.

Hagane no renkinjutsushi

Alphonse Elric: Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth.

This is not only a law of fiction; this law really exists in our society.
You dough it, then look around. In our world we’re constantly trading things. From words in dialog, to smiles and kisses, to money and services there is trade all around us. The question is, and is putted throw out the anime is; How much or what is Human life worth?

Edward Elric: Water, 35 litres. Carbon, 20kg. Ammonia, 4 litres. Lime, 1.5kg. Phosperus, 800g. Salt, 250 g. Niter, 100g. Sulphur, 80g. Fluorine, 7.5g. Iron, 5g. Silicon 3g. And fifteen other elements. Those are the elements to make an average adult human body. You can buy these elemental ingredients at the market with the pocket money of a child. Humans are made so cheaply.

The soul is missing. If what John said were to be correct souls would be cheap and easy to geat in this fantasy world. But It isn't. The cost of a soul is trully great has you will find if you decide to follow the anime or the manga
