Lemons to make lemonade

Having felt sometimes that life doesn't give me the desired and/or deserved lemons, I wonder through the orchard.

And that's me… I live life not fighting for what I deserve or what I don't deserve, but instead wondering because fighting spills too much blood, and while wondering I can only be accused of not carrying or being distracted. Blood isn't spoiled down to my hands, because I don't fight, yet I am not without blame.

Because Although wondering doesn't influence on the extending of the battle, people have convinced society, who with such non-grateful favor convinced me, that standing idly by is just as criminal as shooting a gun… I can see that not seeking an end to a war is bad…

But I must complain of this provocation. Sitting idly by, without picking sides or benefiting any party, shouldn't be compared to an act of such violence as some seem to want it to be… And I feel that this people who feed this ideals to society do not acknowledge the full extent this provocation might grow to.

Imagine, my dear reader, as I did, that we should live in world of only four nations, picture them as being so:



(A, B, C and D) All Having at least one border with each other. Let us have that nations B and C wage war against each other, A finds that the war should end and D claims to be neutral.

As C and B fight off for years, the people of nation A parade their discontent, and argue about which side has the most reason to wage war against the other, and nation D communicates that as long as their nation isn't injured by this war they shall not take sides.

1. Nations C and B keep fighting, nation's A population urge the government to take part in ending the war. Nation D keeps on living…
   
2. Fight continues. Government in nation A takes a side approved by majority as to be the one with most reason, start to assemble the army to support nation B. Nation D keeps living idly by.
   
3. Nations C and B keep fighting, but B has now the support of A. Nation C asks for nation D's support. Nation D refuses to take part.
   
4. Nation C succumbs to A and B, who are declared winners. Nation D keeps neutrality
   
5. C takes a last shoot at redemption and deploys a big attack at nations A and B all re-start fighting again. D declares to be neutral and isn't in anyway harmed
   

The reader can continue to speculate in the matter, in my reasoning nation D will get of fine until the rest feel jealousy over the immaculate state of that nation around so much death and pain. But I'm opened to hear other reasonable perspectives.

But anyway it must be admitted by at least the few of you reading this that fighting even for the right reasons will bring more victims than to wonder…

In the end, wondering through the orchard will lead me to find a fallen lemon, and then I will make lemonade to enjoy after my wondering journey.

Oligocracy

Jack's latest post links you to a video in which the first part is about the scheming that religion is and a second part about the power of rich and resourceful minority over the world.

If you saw the movie, you're probably surprised, and asking yourself "How can this be?"

I don't know how it all started, but my high school economics teachers told me that what we're so shocked to hear about started when the human first started to live in society.

I haven't study history in the last 5 years, but I think that the only time in human history that there was true democracy was during the first years as a society, before Egyptians, Greeks or Romans; there was a time when the human being life as part of a herd, and anyone could challenge the leader.

Since then the ratio of People in charge/ total population has just being decreasing. In ancient Rome, there was a senate; later during the dark ages the Vatican had sovereignty over every European kingdom; but then came Martin Luther and the over the world was under the protestant countries, being this the longest period of time without a shift, happening only after the first world war; after which all changed, having two Anglo-Saxons (USA and Great Britain) and Russia; But after world war two Britain got cut out of the picture, leaving the other two to divide the world into tow for the second time in history. But after the fall of the U. R.S.S. we were left only with the United States of America as a ruler.

Now if I could take a moment I would like to explain how an infant adult like me sees the society we live.

My point of view is that we don't live in democracy, but rather in a system known in economy has oligopoly (?) an oligopoly is a market form in which a market or industry is dominated by a small number of sellers (oligopolists), but to make it more correct I'll give it a new name Oligocracy (mostly the same but under a different name). So oligocracy is a regime in which a small group of people rules the country.

You may argue that there are elections every 4-5 years to prevent that.

And you'll be absolutely right, by saying that. But this oligocracy is rules over any countries president. This oligopoly is controlled by banks, oil refineries, warlords… And every country is in dept to them. And this dept is so big that if the government does not fulfill with their demands they risk a total shut down, and actually bringing to life the metaphor shit hole we say we live in.

Now that I explained my way of seeing things, I know you're probably traumatized, greatly traumatized if you actually saw the movie till the end. But I have some words to ease you now:

If there's something that history taught us was that nothing lasts forever, so this system will crumble eventually.And when it does it's going to be either because of greed, competition or both.

My digestive theory.

I had an Economy professor that once said; that our generation lived in a society that was too fast for our nature to comply. He added that that is easily shown by the way we do things, we’re so addicted to this unnatural speed and adrenaline, that we seem junkies always wanting more, more and more…

Now has this way of life isn’t clearly good for our health, I came up with a theory to correct this addiction that over powers us. I call it the 3 minutes theory, although that’s not quite it.

My theory basis is that human beings should wait 3… timescales units (seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years…) to react to whatever happen (in the same unit), using that time to think about it, and to rationalize things.

Example:
Someone tells you a joke; witch takes about 30 seconds, so you should wait three seconds before laughing, so that you can reason if the joke really is worth the laugh or not.

You have been working in a project for a hole day, then you should wait 3 hours before presenting it to anyone.
(If you still have droughts’ about certain situations that may come up just live a comment saying your predicament)

This theory came to my mind, when I thought about the three hours that it takes a human to digest his meal, and how we don’t respect that, leaving many people with gastric problems.

And the time it takes to create life (9 months, 3 for the mother, 3 for the father and three for the new born), and how not respecting that creates emotional as well physical problems for all the involved.
I’m not sure; actually I don’t have the slightest idea, this is a shoot in the dark, but there could be a small possibility that this brings peace to the world.

Even empty promises fill the blanks

Every day it is the same thing, we walk by town and see couples kissing and making promises to each other, politicians in the first page saying things are about to change, and we think to ourselves “There’s a bunch of empty words”.

No matter where you’re going no matter where you came from, you will always hear unrealistic promises, impossible love sewers, false testimony of ability and hyperbolas, between other things. This is like taxes, it’s impossible to escape it. But never mind those empty words; do think instead about, what is your judgment?

When you hear someone telling his\her lover that he\she will love her\him forever, what do you think to yourself? (Please don’t go saying “Oh! I think it’s very romantic, and I would love to have someone to tell me that” because even “Fuck you! You promiscuous slut, I should burn your intestines and serve them to your dog, you bastard” can be romantic if said in the right moment and with the right preparation) Do you think, bastard\bitch is lying to his\her face and he\she is eating it up poor child? Or how wonderful, jeez they clearly were made to each other, I just wish good luck for both, I’m happy for them.

(If you choose the second option you are clearly lying and should exclude yourself from reading the next part of the post for moral reasons.)

You never thought how happy either of the intervenient are? The one promising the impossible is happy, because he\she just promised the world and got it back, with a gesture from the other end (a kiss, a smile, a nod…). The other is happy for the empty promised he\she heard, and for the three seconds that it made him\her smile\dream\imagining, and rewards those kind words with the simplicity of a kiss, a smile, a nod…

“Is better to hear a fake love promise, than to never hear from love at all.”

Hearing empty promises is good for your health, because you dream for two\three seconds and the world stops, in that moment you that it’s all going to go better from now on, because of those words.

“Even if it isn’t true tell me you love me.”

There’s something more I’d like to say. Every week I go to church, and people ask me if I’m a true believer, I answer no, the next pop-upped question is “Then why do you go?” And I have to say that no true believer goes to church (except the priest, of course), only non-believers go in search for the contact, the proof that God exists, we ask for salvation, forgiveness, and help. If we were true believers we would know that we are saved, we would have no reason to be forgiven for, and no help to ask just to offer. The celebration that goes inside a church is search for the belief, and because belief is an important part of our journey here on earth, I suggest that you pray at least once a month.

Lent part 2 - I must have to apologize to someone.

For the people that don’t know the lent is the time between the carnival and Easter, normally celebrated with sacrifices every day like fasting, and prayer.

This part of the lent we ask for forgiveness, for whatever wrong we’ve done during our lives, so…
As you can figure I’m has human has you are so I too have to apologize to someone. As my Sins make a long list and to ask for everyone’s forgiveness takes is almost impossible. So I’ll take the chance and the possibility that blogger offers to ask to everyone and everything for forgiveness, and pardon, and to say “I’m correcting my ways, please accept”.

Twisting the world to my likes.

Sometimes you just have to see the world burn, before setting everything into a new order. That’s why Nero set Rome on Fire, to see its beauty flourish and disappear in a single instant. Recreating the beauty afterwards, so that every one witnesses it again.

I love movie that things only fall into place in the end, like the first four of the Saw series and Donnie Darko, as well many more. Because in all those something is burning and reality is recreated every step of the way.

Reediting "Life isn't measured in minutes, but in moments"

I liked the movie, great actually, just as Jack said.

And having Jack commented the movie before me, lives me just to comment the idea.

The movie has two high points for me the birth and death of the character. The birth of the old with a mind of a young one, and the death of the young with a mind of an old one. It seems strange at first, but when you look at it with more careful, you see an old man playing, and a child being forced to exercise, and to subject itself to the world. That is exactly the kind of things I see every day, children don’t play they are subjected to the idea that they have to learn and perfect their body to the future, and in the opposite side old people are left at “playgrounds” where they have their games, naps and education. This image seems wrong. But it clear shows that a child would have better living among the old than with the conceited idea we have now.

The movie, without the plot, elaborates the idea that children and the elderly are better of together for their mutual education.

I Love Politics

Just like any other day in wish an elcted presidant takes charge.
But this one is diferente, THIS is OBAMA

They have to live.

Obama, created a image that his a savior, he might be but not alone, not only with his staff or army.
He will need:
First, every American to get on with their lives and watch how his doing.
The thing about Politics is that it only works if every one Lives their life.
If sudenly everyone started living in a farm, eating from what they grow.
Every thing would stop, many of us would die of hunger or war.
And Obama would be incapable of doing any thing, because noone is there to help him.
